- We do not collect your audio or microphone data
- We do not access your contacts, messages, or emails

3. How We Use Your Information
We use the collected information to:
- Provide core functionality — detect and locate your AirPods via Bluetooth

4. Bluetooth & Location Permissions
AirPods Finder requires Bluetooth and Location permissions to function:
- Bluetooth Permission — Used to scan for and connect to AirPods or compatible Bluetooth devices nearby.
- Location Permission — Android requires location permission to perform Bluetooth device scans. We use this only for device detection, not to track your physical movements.
You may revoke these permissions at any time from your device settings. Doing so will disable core app features.
5. Data Sharing & Disclosure
We do not sell, trade, or rent your personal data to third parties. We may share information only in the following limited cases:
- Service Providers — trusted third-party services that help us operate the App (e.g., analytics, crash reporting) under strict confidentiality agreements
- Legal Requirements — if required by law, court order, or government authority
- Business Transfer — in the event of a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, your data may be transferred with prior notice

The App may use third-party services such as:
- Google Play Services
- Firebase Analytics (crash reporting & usage analytics)
- AdMob (if ads are shown)

AirPods Finder is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we discover that a child under 13 has provided us with personal information, we will delete it immediately. If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has used our App, please contact us.
